Rowley Wrench empowers women, queer and trans people, immigrants, and other Vermonters historically excluded from automotive spaces by making car care education accessible, hands-on, and community-driven. We demystify the auto industry and equip people with the knowledge and confidence to care for their vehicles, advocate for themselves, and access mobility with dignity and self-determination.
We envision an automotive culture rooted in equity, care, transparency and collective power where women, queer and trans people, immigrants and other marginalized communities are welcomed, respected and empowered. We do so by holding the following values (The 3 E’s):
Equity: Centering those most impacted by systemic barriers to mobility and access.
Empowerment: Building confidence and self-determination through hands-on learning and community support.
Education: Sharing practical, life-sustaining skills with dignity and respect.
Access to safe and reliable transportation shouldn’t depend on who you are or how much you know….
Our Mission
…If the auto industry has ever made you feel small, you’re exactly who we’re here for.
